FixLy ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Information we collect
Account info: name, email, and authentication identifiers when you sign up with email/password or Google.
Uploaded media: photos, videos, and audio you submit for diagnosis are stored privately under your account.
Usage data: scan counts, timestamps, app interactions, and device metadata for analytics and abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
- To generate AI-powered repair diagnoses
- To maintain your scan history and account
- To enforce free-tier limits and process subscriptions
- To improve product accuracy (only on anonymized, opt-in data)
- To send transactional and (where consented) marketing emails
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Subprocessors required to operate the service (cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processing)
- Authorities when legally required
4. AI model providers
Uploaded media is sent to AI providers (Google, OpenAI) to generate your diagnosis. These providers process media under their data-processing agreements and do not train on FixLy data.
5. Data retention
Scans are retained for 30 days on Free plans and indefinitely on Pro plans. You can delete any scan or your entire account at any time from Settings.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, others), you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. Email privacy@fixly.app.
7. Security
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is gated behind row-level security policies in our backend.
8. Children
FixLy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.
